Hello Harry has been serving up their mouthwatering, affordable burgers on Ocean Street in Maroochydore for quite some time now. Sadly, for those of us who call the river city home a weekend road trip was required every time we wanted to get our hands on their delicious creations.
Lauded burger joint Hello Harry will start serving its signature burger-and-beer dishes at Portside Wharf next month. The eatery has already made a splash in the Sunshine Coast with its two established venues at Maroochydore and Caloundra.
Atalanta Bar & Grill at Portside, Hamilton, will soon have a new street art-embellished neighbour, with chef-entrepreneur Tony Kelly’s Hello Harry, a licensed burger bar, quickly springing up alongside. It’s the third Hello Harry venture for Kelly and business partner Scott Hoskins and it’s due to debut in early-May.
Hello Harry will occupy a 130sq m site, serving nine burgers ranging from a classic beef wagyu and a crumbed barramundi offering to a chickpea, labne, candied pumpkin and honey mustard burger for vegetarians. All burgers are served on house-made brioche buns.

Hello Harry haven’t been in Brisbane for too long, but they’ve been killing it in the burger scene since early 2014. Opening up shop on the Sunshine Coast, they’ve since expanded their business down to Brisbane in the funky Portside precinct. The restaurant is cool, yet casual, and their newest location is perfectly placed. If you reside on the other side of town, don’t stress – they’re set to open up a shop in Milton in mid-June.
The minds behind Pan-Asian street food venue Junk and dessert vendor Donut Boyz are bringing the Sunshine Coast’s popular Hello Harry licenced burger bar franchise to Brisbane! The burger joint is known for its delicious, generous-sized burgers and casual and funky dining atmosphere. The locations are set to open over the next few months with a Forest Lake location in March, a Milton location in May and Hamilton location at Portside Wharf to follow.
